Baked cottage-cheese pancakes

35 minCooking time from 3 yAge 8–10 small pancakesServings

Possible allergens: Dairy, egg, wheat flour, honey

Ingredients

  • 250 g cottage cheese (tvorog)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar (a little)
  • A pinch of vanilla

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix everything into a soft dough.
  3. With wet hands shape small patties and place them on a lined tray.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.

Note for parents: Baking needs less oil than frying. Never give honey to babies under 1.

Do not give children aged 2–4 small, hard, round foods (grapes, cherries, nuts) whole — they are a choking hazard. Introduce honey, nuts and other allergens in small amounts. If your child has special dietary needs, consult a doctor.
